Wow! Where to start to tell you how incredibly grateful we are for all you have done to support our whole family this year. Thank you so much for always being there for us, for assembling a team of AMAZING caregivers, and for providing us with guidance and a shoulder to cry on. We are so thankful for the gift you have to make us all feel heard, valued and cared for. Thank you for your flexibility and patience as our needs have evolved over this year. We could not keep our parents in the home they love without you and your awesome team. We are so blessed to have you in our lives!

We cannot begin to tell you how blessed we all feel to have found you and Anam Cara. The understanding and compassionate care you and your employees provide embodies Anam Cara—you are truly a “friend of their souls.” We are so thankful for you!

I wanted to tell you how thankful I am for you, Anam Cara, and Jagoe. Your vision for end of life care is second to none and Jagoe is invaluable in helping to carry out that vision. As you know, my grandparents are 96, they have wonderful lives and have seen/done incredible things… yet, having Jagoe in their home has changed their lives and brought both of them so much happiness and comfort. I speak on behalf of not only my own thankful heart, but also for my entire family. Thank you so much for what you do, thank you for helping my grandparents find peace and pleasure during a challenging time. You, your business, and Jagoe will forever hold a special place in my heart.

Thank you, Sarah. Your crew fit our needs perfectly and became part of our family very quickly. I pray you can continue to provide wonderful care for many in the future. You offer a service that is extremely necessary and very valuable for those who need it. You all are angels. Keep up the good work, and thank you!

We would never have been able to let our beloved friend die in the comfort of her own home and surrounded by her pets and all of our love without the one and only Sarah at the helm! Sarah saved us in the awful moment when we discovered that we could no longer leave our friend to care for herself at home. Literally, on her way home from a family vacation, Sarah began to assemble the dream team of around-the-clock caregivers that came into our friend’s little cabin to care for her, her horse, her dog, and her kittens until the end.

For four months Sarah guided us with grace and grit through the struggle of our friend’s death. Sarah not only supported the local hospice services and coordinated care, she also helped us create ways to get our friend visiting and riding her horse and get her in and out of her car for outings so her life could be as full and meaningful as possible. Sarah sacrificed her own family time to be with our friend to take day long shifts when no one else could during COVID scares. She fought for the correct combinations of medications to keep our friend comfortable. Most importantly, Sarah was able to earnestly communicate with our friend, despite the brain disease, and, I believe, helped our friend think more deeply about what was happening to her.

The miracle of Sarah is that her skills allowed her friends the space and freedom to just love and be with her during the precious moments she had left. What a gift! We are forever grateful.

I watched Sarah tend to my bed-ridden friend over the last few weeks of his life with true compassion, empathy, and strength of character. I remember at one point thinking if I were in a wartime scenario I would want someone like Sarah as a commanding officer. Someone who could keep your spirits up in a bleak situation and yet you could trust to handle the least desirable prospect with aplomb. Thank you, Sarah, for being there at such a delicate time. We appreciate you more than you know.

I consider the day that Sarah walked into our lives as one of the luckiest days ever. She glows with her extraordinary love and compassion. As she cared for my husband and for me, we always felt safe and confident that this experience would be okay. It was not just okay but an extraordinary journey into a new dimension. We became part of her amazing family for two weeks when my husband received care in their home. We loved witnessing the love and humor that bind them together .

I have two elderly parents, Mom in her late 80s and Dad in his early 90s. I am the main caregiver for my parents, they are independent but need some help. When they both became very ill this Spring, I was extremely overwhelmed. I contacted Sarah for her help and she was a God send! Sarah is kind, compassionate, knowledgeable and very caring. She has a special personality that made my parents open up to her. She not only helped to heal my parents, but she was there for me when I needed advice and support. I highly recommend Sarah and her team for in-home caregiving services.

My sister and I sought Sarah out to help us provide some respite care for our 89 year-old father. We were pretty careful about who we were willing to trust to watch over him. We quickly discovered that Sarah and her team provided great respite care on the weekends and our dad was always happy to see Sarah and her team. Sarah recommended strategies that we were able to implement that helped make him more comfortable and made it easier for us to care for him. Sarah helped us to extend time that he was able to live in a home setting. We will always be grateful for the energy, passion, and knowledge that Sarah brought into our lives. Thank you!

My wife was diagnosed with terminal lung cancer in 2012. Sarah was a part of my wife’s hospice team. Even with our feelings of fear, sadness and anger, my wife and I felt comforted when we immediately felt at ease and taken care of by Sarah and her approach to working with us. Sarah helped us feel hopeful that we would be in good hands in the very scary and painful situation we found ourselves in. Those were the hardest days of my life. Sarah couldn’t have been more helpful, loving, and compassionate, making that time as peaceful and supported as I could possibly imagine.  Sarah is punctual, an exceptional communicator, organized, compassionate and has an easy and fun-loving personality. I am forever grateful for Sarah’s role in Kay’s end of life experience and my grief experience. She was a God send to us and I always appreciated Sarah’s hand in the process. It was a long haul and we couldn’t have done it without her.

My experience watching how Sarah cared for my brother-in-law in his final months of life was a learning experience. She was patient, inspiring and most of all caring.  I believe my brother-in-law’s final days were comfortable because Sarah took the time and effort to have well thought out discussions with him. From discussions with Jim, he trusted and valued her opinion as a professional and a friend. Sarah plays to an individual’s strengths and assists with their weaknesses by providing good old fashion companionship.

Everyone hopes in their final days they will have the care that someone like Sarah can provide - I do!  With that said, I highly recommend Sarah as a caregiver, a friend, and a comrade in any situation.

Sarah is a dream to work with in a team environment. She values others on the team and their contribution to shared goals. Sarah collaborates well and her communication skills are superior. One of my favorite characteristics of Sarah is her ability to make everyone she meets feel valued and important. She genuinely cares for people and treats all with the utmost respect. While Sarah made me laugh every single day we worked together, she took her responsibilities seriously and I never doubted her dependability and commitment to excellence.

Sarah is a tremendous asset to any and every endeavor that she takes part in. Sarah brought strong nursing skills to The Denver Hospice as well as a well-rounded education with a Masters' degree in the counseling field. She always showed interest and respect for my field of spiritual care as well. She takes pride in her work and is a wonderful team player.

Sarah is incredibly bright, and after being a nurse in the field at our agency, she moved to our education department and she was a tremendous asset to all of the other nurses in the agency as she taught them many of the nursing skills that it takes to be an effective hospice nurse and modeled how to be an effective communicator and team player as well.  Sarah has a great heart of compassion and has tremendous character.

I miss working with Sarah as she was one of the best nurses and coworkers I ever had the privilege to work with in my 25 year hospice career.

I was a Hospice Medical Director and worked with Sarah for 3 years. Sarah is one of the absolutely best hospice nurses that I have had the privilege to know and work with. She always went above and beyond to make sure her patients had the best care. She understood the value of working with a team. It was such a pleasure to work with her. As a nurse, she taught me so much about compassion and being there for patients and families day and night. If I were in hospice care or had a family member in hospice, I would want Sarah to take care of us. I cannot think of anyone better. I miss working with her, and I envy those that have the pleasure of working with her.
